Graduate of the Faculty of Polish Studies at the University of Warsaw. She also completed teacher-translation studies at the Institute of Applied Linguistics of the University of Warsaw. She currently works at the Institute of Polish Language. She is a member of the Council of the Scientific Discipline of Linguistics at the University of Warsaw. Her scientific work is mainly concerned with lexical semantics, including comparative semantics. Recently, she has published, among others, a monograph on the notion of ‘guilt’ in Polish (Semantyka winy we współczesnej polszczyźnie, Wydawnictwo Wydziału Polonistyki UW 2012, https://depot.ceon.pl/handle/123456789/16763); the article “Jestem z wami sercem i myślami.
